Urban Impact
Planet Green's new special, Urban Impact, profiles the unique activist Reverend Lennox Yearwood ("Rev"), founder of the Washington DC based Hip Hop Caucus, as he tries to launch his new organization, Green the Block. Green the Block is a revolutionary campaign bringing sustainability and jobs to the inner-city streets- thereby fighting pollution and poverty at the same time. This documentary takes viewers on Rev's personal journey as he joins forces with a host of like-minded pioneers, from politicians to musicians to celebrities, to implement change from the hood to Capitol Hill.
