American Loggers
A hundred mile stretch of treacherous road cuts through the heart of Maine's backcountry. Thickly blanketed by snow and ice and with no imposed speed limit, this desolate thruway serves as the preferred route for truckers and woodsmen whose brutal livelihood supplies the paper mills. For three generations, the Pelletier family has hauled hundreds of thousands of pounds of lumber across these frozen wilds at death defying speeds. It's a dangerous living, but for these American Loggers, it's just what they do.
